did you know the world's greatest classic wines are a lot like ours? good juice shares style and certifications with legends like Domaine de La Romanee Conti and Chateau Latour, the most most sought-after and expensive wines of Burgundy and Bordeaux. our classic natural wines are about as classic as classic gets, premium fine wines at a fraction of the price.
I launched good juice club in the spring of 2020 to share my take on the exciting evolution in natural wine I've experienced since 2012. I was the youngest wine importer in the country and only interested in organic farming--lucky for me, certified organic vineyard acreage has doubled in my decade in the field. I've watched old favorites invest in conversion (like Latour in 2018) while the next generation of tastemakers grows new frontiers. certified organic and biodynamic farming is the delicious future of fine wine.
in natural wine, DRC and Latour are the exceptions that prove the rule: small farmers are leading the way. organic wine growers have more resources and peers than ever before, and terroir is less about privilege and more about vision and the hard work of good farming than it's ever been. it's an exciting time for discerning fans like us.
check out the resources section for the information that informs my taste and fresh tasting videos (new every month) for a sense of my style. if you like good organic produce, I think you'll find we have a lot in common.
